Hey, Mark. After getting my app onto the PlayBook, I found out that the YouTube video player wasn’t working for my app that I created through the Andromo App Maker. When I click on a video in the YouTube activity, it says Starting Download at the bottom of the screen and doesn’t play the video.
I want to fix it in any way, if I can. Is there any way I can make it work. Can I edit the APK file in any way to make it work. Please reply ASAP.
Hey Gary,
We’ve noticed that as well, and right now we’re not sure why it’s happening. Right now there is no way that I know of that you can fix the issue by modifying the APK file. It’s something that we’ll look into for the next release.
Okay, thanks a lot. Hoping to see the fix in the next release.
Hey Gary, I know it’s been a while but we just released a fix to the YouTube activity. It will not work properly on the Playbook.
